Memorials & Celebrations is an opportunity for the amazing people who provide safe, retirement homes for former sled dogs, to share their lives with our sleddie community. 
There are two types of submissions you can make at this time -- Memorial or Celebration:
  • Memorials are for a sleddie who's passed on, like an obituary, though they can still be considered celebratory.
  • Celebrations are for the dog(s) still with you and a chance to just share your love for them amongst the sleddie community.
To submit your sleddie for either, please fill out the form below.

*this page is in its infancy so there may be some changes along the way - the number of submissions will dictate how the pages are organized, so thanks in advance for your patience!

Steps:
  1. Fill out submission form below.
  2. You can upload one photo with your submission. (More can be included for a fee of $5 per photo)
  3. I take your submission and create the write up. (Text may be edited for brevity and/or spelling/clarity.)
  4. Within 7-14 days your memorial will be up!
  5. I Was A Sled Dog will share your story on their socials (currently Facebook + Instagram)

    3. AGREEMENT

    I agree to allow I Was A Sled Dog and its operators and affiliates to use the information I've shared in the PUBLIC section above for web-content, social media and any other purpose either online or in print in perpetuity. I also understand that this page may not exist forever but I Was A Sled Dog will do their best to notify me should the platform change or the page be discontinued. I Was A Sled Dog is not responsible for outages due to power loss or web host issues.
    ​I Was A Sled Dog reserves the right to edit submissions or refuse submissions.

Contributions

Though not required for a submission, contributions help me to continue this advocacy work. 
I ask for a contribution of $25 for each memorial or celebration, though you can enter your own amount using one of the forms of payment below.
