pluto

photographed: june 3. 2018
Name: Pluto
Age: 5 years old, male
Weight: 19.5 kg
Breed/Mix: saluki/greyhound/husky, etc...
Sled dog name: unknown
Age at adoption: currently in foster
Adopted from: fostering for Victoria Humane Society since May 2018
Coat - single/double: single coat
Likes: stuffies, chewing on bones and ALL the cuddles!
Dislikes: water - especially running water (taps or sprinklers), sudden movements, loud noises
Sleeping locations: during the day, on my bed or couch; at night, on my bed with his foster brother Jasper
Off-leash time: not yet, he's in foster
Escaped or lost?: No! Fingers crossed....
Siblings: yes, Picasso (now KC)
Medical conditions: huge overbite but not a medical issue, just makes eating out of a bowl a bit tricky
Spayed/Neutered at adoption: yes
Known history: originally from Thunder Bay Humane Society - now available for adoption through Victoria Humane Society!
Anything else you'd like to add: Pluto is very friendly and loves getting snuggles from humans, especially men. He's still settling but I think he will start to play with other dogs and toys - he may have a crazy puppy side!

Session notes:

Pluto was a character... when I could entice his attention away from his foster mom long enough. This guy was so wanting human attention that it hurt my heart. Once I saw his overbite, I was even more of a goner.
Each and everyone of the dogs in the project has something about them that has swallowed me whole. Pluto's overbite, which gives him a derpy-ness, is a great pairing with his personality. I know his best home will come along, but in the meantime, his foster family is gonna give him all the loves he's so deserving of.
