Known history:
Santana was one of the Thunder Bay 12. She was found on Feb 7th, 2017 in -41, in a blizzard. She was so thin she couldn’t stand up. She was rehabbed by TBDHS before being flown out the Victoria. She originally belonged to a sprint kennel in Long Lac
Anything else you'd like to add: Santana is the bravest most resilient souI I know. She doesn’t let life get her down and is somehow still able to trust people after everything life has thrown at her. She is always so full of life and ready to play and have fun. She has learned some funny things living with a golden, ie laying down in water. It has been the best thing in my life to adopt my princess.

Session notes:
Santana came to the session while still in foster with my friend Heather. I took a candid of Santana and Heather and it turned out to be one of my all-time favourite photos. Santana was pretty nervous, but once fellow sleddie, Jeff, showed up, she was super happy... and so was Jeff. (photo at top of page here)
Santana was adopted about a week after her session! Recently I was on a walk with some sleddies, including Santana, and asked her adopter Winter, if she wouldn't mind filling out the questionnaire since Santana hadn't been with Heather in foster very long. Winter was happy to - so what you read above is from 9 months of  living in Santana-land.
