Her mom's name is Blackie, father unknown Anything else you'd like to add: Bella is a very sweet affectionate girl that loves to run on the beach and loves to be loved! When giving her scratches she leans her full weight against you. She has a wonderful demeanor, is not at all timid and gets along with most people most of the time! Every day we have with her is fantastic and we're so happy to have her in the family. Session notes: Bella was photographed on location at: A Candyland Gathering! From running around outside and having a blast to being put on a leash and brought inside an unfamiliar place was confusing for Bella. Her family had come inside with me for the session - I thought it might make it less stressful for her - but I think it confused her more. That's the thing - what works for one dog, may not work for another. That's the whole point of this project - they are all individuals. Yes, there are things that may be similar in them - that ties them together with an invisible tether - it's unfair to think that they all like the same things and that they can handle the same situations. The photos I choose best represent Bella in my eyes. The first one was taken at the session - although she's got some serious tail tuck, resting her head in her human's hand calmed her down for a couple moments so I could snap the shutter. The second photo was the night she arrived in Victoria from Thunder Bay. There was a lot going on and it had been a loooong day. Once out of the transport crate she was harnessed up, leashed up, GPS trackered up. And she sought comfort against the leg of another sleddie adopter and she took a breath. A brief moment of calm in her transition and one of my favourite sleddie photos I've ever taken. Bella is the second sleddie for this family after their first sleddie Pharaoh passed away. |
