Name: Farmer
Age: 10 years old, male Weight: 85 pounds Breed/Mix: Greyhound/Husky Sled dog name: unknown Age at adoption: 9 years old Adopted from: Victoria Humane Society, April 2015 Coat - single/double: double Likes: being in the forest, chewing on tendons, dinner, breakfast, neck rubs, rolling in stinky stuff, neck rubs directly AFTER rolling in stinky stuff, pushing people over with his butt swing. Dislikes: the car, baths, collars, leashes Sleeping locations: at night, inside wherever he wants; during the day he uses the dog door to go where he wants Off-leash time: every day in the forest Escaped or lost?: before he was allowed off leash, he got out the gate and took himself for a walk in the forest - he came back when I turned my back on him and sat on the ground Siblings: unknown Medical conditions: horrible teeth - most are missing, arthritic hips and spine, sun-downing Spayed/Neutered at adoption: yes Known history: only that I think he came from Ohio Session notes: For a dog who gets to choose his own adventure daily, I'm not sure this would've been on his list of fun things to do this day, but he was so good natured about it. There was a lot going on in the studio with three sleddies there! One may think that the other sleddies should've gone elsewhere during the session, but to be honest, that seemed to make the dogs more uncomfortable. If they came with their buddies, their buddies must stay in sight. Farmer didn't want to look at my camera (even when I met and photographed him back in 2015) - every photo I have of him looking at me, his ears are back, but there's something about his eyes that's compelled me to chose this one anyways. He's got adorable floppy ears that I'll share at a later time - trust me - they're cute. Farmer passed away in May 2018. |
