She was adopted out by SPCA and then surrendered to the Victoria Humane Society in 2016 and then we adopted her Anything else you'd like to add: she likes to bury things like treats and then dig them up later Session notes: Fiddle is one of the happiest looking sleddies I know. Maybe it's the fur on her face, her markings? Whatever it is she always looks to be smiling and knowing something super fun that we don't. Not long before this project went live in March 2018, she did go missing for a few hours on a local mountain. Her mom Heather instantly let the sleddie community know and people were out with posters and to help look. She was found a few hours later, tired, but ok. At 12-years-old, Fiddle still loves her romps in the woods with her dog brother and human family, so now she wears a bell. Fiddle is a survivor of the 2010 Whistler sled dog cull. Fiddle passed away May 16, 2022. |
