Sled dog name: Copper
Age at adoption: 9.5 years
Adopted from: Victoria Humane Society, Aug 24, 2016
Coat: single/double: double coat
Likes: the beach, the forest, food of any kind, hanging out with her friends, chasing things
Dislikes: men, loud noises, small dogs (she is terrified of them)
Sleeping locations: she has two beds she alternates between - one in the living room and one in the bedroom
Off-leash time: yes!
Escaped or lost: no
Siblings: Calli, Rondy (now Ruby), Kusko & Knik
Medical conditions?: was underweight at adoption
Spayed/Neutered at adoption: yes
Known history: From Fort St. James, did a few races, but mostly recreational
Anything else you'd like to share? Copper is my daily reminder of what resilience and forgiveness look like. Her trust in me is the greatest gift. Just recently she stopped flinching when I touched her legs!
She loves begging for food and has it down to an art form.

Session notes:
Although Copper looks very serious, when the camera wasn't on she was pretty relaxed and even had a snooze on the floor right in front of the wall box.

I've gotten to see her on some adventures and she's super silly and has a blast.

Copper passed away January 12, 2022
